HI! My name is Cassie and I am currently serving my sentence in Erie, P.A. with my loving family of 6 and 2 pets. I really do love them. Honest!! :o) I will be graduating from the 8th grade this year. Why I'm telling this, I have no idea. Being a teeenager in this time is hard and I have views on things that may not be exactly clear to some, but others I'm sure can relate. I also, have some interests and dislikes that could be cool. Being that it is 1999, I think that the new millenium will bring, no dout, more confustion and trouble to the world then ever before. I think this will bring out the truth about everything that has gone on behind our backs and enlighten our minds on how to make it worse. Not to sound anti-Americian or anything, but I really feel that America over the years has done nothing but build a bigger hole for us to fall into. I mean, the biggest thing we care about is who slept with who. That is pathetic!!! We have poverty over our heads, drugs/violence, teen pregnaces, juvaniles, countries that hate us or pretend to at least like us. Our biggest issue is the Presidents private life. When that is out of the clearing, we have to go and bomb a country becasue of certain reasons. ( from what I understand, because we don't like what that country is doing to another country and we invaded in the war they were having ) It is very sad when that is what our main focus is. Who knows what will happen when the clock turns 12:01 January 1, 2000. I don't think we will all blow-up into pieces, but I do believe that sooner or later we will destroy ourselves and that will be the end of man kind. It will happen and I believe it will happen in the next century. I think life is a delicate, precious thing. I see it as, I guess a book. Are you going to choose a book that is full of information and facts and costs more or are you going to buy the book of enettainment that costs less? It's a weird analogy I know, but think about it. I take life one day at time. As problems come, I deal with them. Same goes with good things. As a saying goes, " The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Waste ". Thats can go for life as well. When you have a thing that is so delicate and fragile, you have to handle it with care, not roll it around and test it's strength. The time will come when that thing will fall apart and then you will wish that you hadn't rolled it around. The sad thing is, you don't realize the beauty of something until it's gone, and then it to late. Heres a quote I made up myself. " A hope becomes a dream, a dream becomes real and then BOOM!!!! I enjoy doing, the "typical" teenage things. Going to the mall, movies, boys. I love the outdoors. Camping, hiking, biking, swimming, just hanging outside is cool. Being a Scorpio, I love the fog/mist and rain. I'm a real feen for caffine/coffee, chicken, chocolate, the internet, and being around people. I'm a real people person. No matter my mood, I always want people by me.
